This feature eliminates connection failures to Ethernet devices via satellite links. When configuring an Ethernet driver (AB-ETH), you can append an option (:EIP) to the EtherNet/IP address that specifies the driver will always use the EtherNet/IP protocol for Ethernet devices (for example, 130.130.130.130:EIP).
